The Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi received today in a meeting the new German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jörn Rohde. Along with the German ambassador, were also his deputy, Jan-Axel Voss and the director of the German-Kosovar Business Association, Nora Hasani.

The Minister of Economy and Environment (MEE), Blerim Kuçi, visited today the Municipality of Rahovec, where he was hosted by the Mayor of this municipality, Smajl Latifi.

Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi together with the Ambassador of Switzerland in Kosovo, Thomas Kolly and the Mayor of Gjakova, Ardian Gjini, have signed an agreement to support the project for Improving the Performance of the new District Heating in Gjakova.

Prishtina, August 26, 2020 - In order to improve the energy sector in Kosovo, today in the Ministry of Economy and Environment, the agreement between the Kosovo Agency for Energy Efficiency and the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund has been signed, through which funds will be transferred from KAEE to KEEF, funds which will be in the implementation of energy efficiency projects.

The Ministry of Economy and Environment (MEA) is finalizing the payments from the Emergency Fiscal Package (EFP): Measures, 3 A, 3 B, 7, 8 and 14.

The Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi held today a virtual meeting with the Deputy Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Riccardo Serri, the Ambassador of Austria, Christopher Weidinger, the Ambassador of Italy, Nicola Orlando, the Head of the Belgian Office in Kosovo, Jean Louis Servais, Charge d'Affaires of Luxembourg Natacha Gomez and German diplomatic representative Axel Ross.

Today the Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, and the Acting Chief Executive Officer of RWC “Prishtina”, Mr. Sokol Xhafa, signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the Wastewater Treatment in Prishtina.

The Government of Kosovo in its meeting held on Tuesday, 3 August 2020, has dismissed the temporary boards of four public enterprises: Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), RWC "Prishtina", Central Public Enterprise HPE "Iber-Lepenc" and RWC "Hidroregjioni Jugor".
