Prishtina, February 8, 2022 - – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, together with representatives of the Cabinet, received in a meeting the Ambassador of the European Union to Kosovo, Tomáš Szunyog as well as the Administrator Head of Cooperation EU Office Kosovo in Kosovo, Luigi Brusa.

Prishtina, 07.02.2022 – Today was inaugurated the completion of the fifth package of the Kosovo Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Project by the Government of Kosovo in cooperation with the World Bank. The “1 Tetori” Sport Hall in Prishtina was selected to mark completion of implementation of EE measures in 29 public buildings covered by the package.

Prishtina, 02.02.2022 - The Ministry of Economy has submitted its comments on the “Consultation Report: Review of the Tariff Structure for Regulated Household Customers served under the USS” and the “Consultation Report: Extraordinary Review of the Maximum Allowed Revenues for Electricity Regulated Operators” published by the Energy Regulatory Office on 17 January 2022.

Prishtina, 31.01.2022 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, together with representatives of her cabinet, representatives of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, as well as the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure held the first meeting of the workshop for the development of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact Program in Kosovo.

Prishtina, 26.01.2022 - The Ministry of Economy (ME) and the Regulatory Authority of Electronic and Postal Communications (RAEPC), today held a meeting on the Draft Digital Agenda 2030.

The Kosovo Digital Economy Project (KODE), implemented by the Ministry of Economy, through the Youth Online and Upward (YOU) Program will finance the provision of training for Kosovo youth and their connection to job opportunities. The activities will primarily cater to unemployed or underemployed young men and women to increase their ability to compete in relevant job segments. The program will enable beneficiaries to perform IT or IT-enabled services. It is expected that through these trainings the beneficiaries will increase their employment in the local ICT market.

Prishtina, 18.01.2022 – The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), an independent institution responsible for setting tariffs that reflect the cost to final consumers, has issued its Consultative Report on the Extraordinary Review of Electricity Tariffs.
