Prishtina, 20 January 2011 – Today a preparatory meeting was held, attended by representatives of energy institutions and enterprises, to initiate the compilation of the annual report related to the progress in the implementation of the Kosovo Energy Strategy Implementation Programme.
Gjilan, 13 January 2011 – The Minister of Energy and Mining, Justina Shiroka – Pula, with the representative of the European Commission Liaison Office in Prishtina, Khaldoun Sinno, representative of the Health Ministry, Zenun Çelaj, Mayor of Gjilan, Qemajl Mustafa, and Gjilan Regional Hospital Director, Xhavit Hajdari, inaugurated the project on the implementation of the energy efficiency measures in this health facility.
Prishtina, 12 January 2011 – Minister of Energy and Mining, Justina Shiroka – Pula, with the Chief of Operations in the European Commission Liaison Office, Kjartan Bjornsson, and the Mayor of Prishtina, Isa Mustafa, have inaugurated the project on the implementation of the energy efficiency measures in the Electro-technical High School Gjin Gazulli and Primary School, Ismail Qemalji in Prishtina.

Prishtinë, 25 November 2010 – The Ministry of Energy and Mining signed a memorandum of understanding with the German public enterprise, Laustizer und Mitteldeutsche Bergbau-Verëaltungsgesellschaft mbH (LMBV International), in an effort to adopt the German model to treat environmental and social problems caused by mining activities.
