Prishtina, 08 March 2011 – Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KCC) is one of the main actors in the development of economic policies, as it is the voice of the business community; said Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, in a meeting with the President of KCC, Safet Gërxhaliu, and representatives of the business community.
PRISHTINA, 4 March 2011 – The Economic Development Minister (MED), Besim Beqaj, in a one-day visit to Great Britain has held several meetings with respective state representatives, and representatives of organizations and companies, looking for possibilities for an economic cooperation and implementation of different projects with the support of Britain’s national institutions.
Prishtina, 3 March 2011- The Economic Development Minister, Besim Beqaj, said that priorities of his Ministry shall be economic structural reforms and modernization of public enterprises, with the aim of increasing their efficiency in terms of services provided for the citizens, sustainable development of the energy sector, and enhancement and modernization of the Information and Communication Technology in line with European and international standards.
Prishtina, 24 February 2011 – The former Minister of Energy and Mining, Ms. Justina Shiroka-Pula handed over the responsibilities of this ministry to Besim Beqaj, Minister of Economic Development, as the former will not be incorporated in the latter ministry structures.

Prishtina, 12 January 2011 – Minister of Energy and Mining, Justina Shiroka – Pula, with the Chief of Operations in the European Commission Liaison Office, Kjartan Bjornsson, and the Mayor of Prishtina, Isa Mustafa, have inaugurated the project on the implementation of the energy efficiency measures in the Electro-technical High School Gjin Gazulli and Primary School, Ismail Qemalji in Prishtina.
