Prishtinë, 25 August 2011 – The Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, received today the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kosovo, Ernst Reichel, for an introductory meeting, in which the latter reiterated the determination of this country to support Kosovo in all spheres.

Prishtina, 19 August 2011 – The Decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to enforce law and order in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo is aimed at eliminating all actions detrimental to economic development in the Republic of Kosovo, and not directed against anyone, said Minister of Economic Development of Kosovo, Besim Beqaj.

Pristina, 9 June 2011 – Today, a memorandum of understanding was signed by MED and the German Association for International Cooperation – GIZ, as part of the cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany on the development of common projects in different spheres. This memorandum will be the basis for future contractual arrangements aimed at co-funding a project on efficient lighting in public facilities at the municipal level.
