PRISHTINA, 5 July 2011 – Minister of Economic Development (MED), Besim Beqaj, in the meeting of the Assembly Committee on Economic Development, Trade, Industry, Energy, Transport and Telecommunication, stated that MED is working in implementing the Law on Mines and Minerals.

Pristina, 9 June 2011 – Today, a memorandum of understanding was signed by MED and the German Association for International Cooperation – GIZ, as part of the cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany on the development of common projects in different spheres. This memorandum will be the basis for future contractual arrangements aimed at co-funding a project on efficient lighting in public facilities at the municipal level.

In addition, efforts will be made to create the preconditions for economic growth and development.
