Prishtina, 7 July 2011 – The World Bank shall support energy projects in Kosovo. This was said in the meeting of the Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, and the Executive Director of the World Bank, Konstantin Huber.

Prishtina, 7 July 2011 – Pursuant to the Government Decision Nr. 08/17 on the Reconfiguration of the structure of Project Steering Committee (PSC) on the construction of the new Power Plant, and after receiving the consent of the World Bank, on July 6, 2011, the first meeting of the committee in the new composition was held.

Pristina, 9 June 2011 – Today, a memorandum of understanding was signed by MED and the German Association for International Cooperation – GIZ, as part of the cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany on the development of common projects in different spheres. This memorandum will be the basis for future contractual arrangements aimed at co-funding a project on efficient lighting in public facilities at the municipal level.
