Prishtina, 27. 03. 2012 – The Government Committee for KEDS Privatization (GPC) approved the extension of the deadline for submission of bids until 20 April, during its meeting held on Tuesday. This decision was taken to accommodate requests by prequalified companies (Limak, Calik, Elsewedy and TAIB), which requested additional time from the GPC to prepare their bids for the privatization of KEK’s Electricity Distribution and Supply Functions.

Brussels, 22.03. 2012 – The European Commission Energy Commissioner, Gunther Oettinger, welcomed Kosovo’s engagements in electricity and natural gas infrastructure projects, while underlining the European Commission support to such projects.

Prishtina, 19. 03. 2012 – Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Ramadan Hasani, visited today the heating stove production factory ‘Emaliku’ in the industrial area between Prishtina – Fushë Kosovë, which was severely damaged as a consequence of heavy snowfall (80% of the factory facilities and a part of the storage and sales facilities).

Prishtina, 09.03.2012 – The Deputy-Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Ramadan Hasani, visited today Bast-Trade Company, in order to express institutional encouragement for their further operations, after the fire that damaged its premises days ago.

Prishtina, 06.03. 2012 – Now we have an approved project package for TPP Kosova e Re, which will be disseminated to potential investors. Thus, we consider that the first phase of the project has concluded, said the Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, after a meeting of the Project Steering Committee, in which the package was approved.
