Prishtina, 09 February 2013 – After consultations at the Government level, the Ministry of Economic Development decided to request from KEK to conduct, by 16 February, a detailed re-evaluation of the situation created and to provide all relevant documents related to billing, meter-reading and effects of meter replacement, said Minister Besim Beqaj.

Prishtina, 30.01.2013 – Economic Development Minister, Besim Beqaj, met today with the Head of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Office in Prishtina. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and find investment opportunities in water-supply companies and rural roads.

Prishtina, 28 January 2013 – Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, received today the non-resident Canadian Ambassador for Kosovo, and Ambassador in Zagreb, Louise LaRecque, accompanied by the Consul of the Canadian Ambassador in Zagreb, Bill McCrimmon. Topics of the meeting included further development of economic diplomacy between two countries and finding means to entice cooperation in various economic sectors. At the occasion, Minister Beqaj informed Ambassador LaRocque on the state of Kosovar economy, elaborating that the countries touched by the economic crisis are bound to emerge from them and start their economic revival.

Prishtina, 28.01.2013 – We are grateful for the recognition of Kosovo by Pakistan last year, a very important recognition both in the political and economic context, said the Economic Development Minister, Besim Beqaj, after the meeting he had with Foreign Affairs Minister of Pakistan, Malik Amad Khan, under the visit of the Pakistani high level delegation in Kosovo.
