Prishtina, 07 October 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, accompanied by his associates, held today an introductory meeting with the new Board of Directors the Kosovo Energy Corporation J.S.C. (KEK), headed by Berat Rukiqi.

Washington, 30 Sep 2013 – During the visit in United States, the Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, and his associates met with State Department officials, American investors and organizations that provide financial assistance and expertise for energy-related projects and human capital development.

27 September 2013 – On 26 and 27 September 2013, the Ministry of Economic Development, concretely its Publicly-Owned Enterprises Policy and Monitoring Unit (POEPMU), organized trainings for the Boards of Directors of Publicly-Owned Enterprises on “Preparation of public infrastructure projects for EU funds” and “How to monitor the annual business work plan in publicly-owned enterprises”.

14.08.2013 - The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, appraised today the significance of reaching objectives of the Government of Kosovo’s decision to privatize KEDS, as well as the significance of the fulfillment of contractual obligations deriving from the agreements pertaining to the sale and purchase of shares of the Kosovo Electricity Distribution and Supply Company (KEDS), the purpose of which was advancement of energy supply, reduction of losses and improved service provision.

13.08.2013 - The Government Privatization Committee for PTK convened today to analyze the current developments in the project and steps to be undertaken further in relation to the privatization of 75% of PTK shares.

12.08.2013 - The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with a group of employees of “Ndërtimtaria J.S.C.” enterprise, a former KEK Unit, who protested today in front of the MED, due to the termination of the contract by the Kosovo Energy Corporation.
