Prishtina, 24 July 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, and his associates met today with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo (ACCK) and the Committee of Heavy Industries, with whom they discusses on the development of this sector and the on possibilities for introducing fiscal facilities and application of appropriate strategies that would ensure economic development and double investments.

Prishtina, 23 July 2013 – Cooperation agreements signed to date between Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Macedonia should be transposed into concrete projects, said the Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, after the meeting with the Macedonian Minister of Economy, Valon Saraqini, who is on an official visit to Prishtina.

Prishtina, 17 July 2013 – The Government Privatization Committee on PTK met today to review the request made by the preferred bidder for the purchase of 75% of PTK shares, to extend the deadline for executing the contract on the purchase of PTK shares for three weeks.

Prishtina, 15 July 2013 – The Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Kosovo and the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Agency signed today a Cooperation Agreement with the “Open Regional Fund for South East Europe – Energy Efficiency” (ORF-EE) on the development and implementation of a “Energy Efficiency Monitoring and Verification Platform,” in a project implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), on behalf of the Federal German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The conference is part of the Munich Conference, held annually to address global security considerations.

Prishtina, 07.07.2013 – Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Gani Koci, and his associates, received today a delegation of the Croatian Geology Institute, headed by its Director Dr. Josip Halamic, with which he discussed on the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of geology.
