Prishtina, 13 November 2013 – The Government of Kosovo and the International Financial Corporation (IFC) have signed today an agreement of cooperation part of assistance provided in the post-privatization process of the Kosovo Electricity Distribution and Supply (KEDS) Company.

Prishtina, 13 November 2013 – The Project Steering Committee (PSC) of the Kosova e Re Power Plant Project, chaired by the Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, convened today in a meeting to discuss certain aspects of the project and steps that are to be undertaken. Present in the meeting were also representatives of the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, USAID, European Commission, KEK, KOSTT and the Government Working Group on Energy Projects.

Prishtina, 12 November 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, had today an introductory meeting with the new Slovenian Ambassador in Kosovo, Miljan Mahen, with whom he discussed on the continuation of mutual economic cooperation between two countries, with special emphasis on spheres covered by MED, which are considered key for the country’s development.

Prishtina, 11 November 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with the Italian Ambassador in Kosovo, Mr. Andreas Ferrarese, with whom he discussed on possibilities for advancing economic cooperation.

Prishtina, 01 November 2013 - The Ministry of Economic Development and the Central Election Commission signed today a Memorandum of Understanding, with which these institutions commit to ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply throughout the election process.

Prishtina, 23.10.2013 – As part of activities related to the process of Kosovo’s membership in EITI (Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative), a delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) held a a working meeting with the secretariat of ALBEITI.

Prishtina, 24 October 2013 – Ministers of member-states of the Energy Community Treaty participated in the 11th meeting of its Council of Ministers, held in Belgrade, Serbia. Republic of Kosovo was represented by the Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, whom along with his counterparts from Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro took a number of important decisions.

Prishtina, 23 Oct 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, will participate in the 11th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Energy Community Treaty which will be held in the Serbian capital – Serbia, which will be attended by representatives of member states of the Energy Community Treaty (EnCT) and European Union.
