Prishtina, 03 December 2013 – Deputy-Minister of Economic Development met today with Christy Machak, US State Department official, with whom he discussed on the most recent economic developments in the country, especially on the achievements in the sphere of energy.

Prishtina, 02 December 2013 – Deputy-Minister of Economic Development, Gani Koci, met today with the Deputy-Ambassador of Japan in Austria, non-resident in Kosovo, Isamu Yamaguchi, with whom he discussed on the recent developments in the country, with emphasis on developments related to economy.

Prishtina, 13 November 2013 – Minister of Economic Development Fadil Ismajli met today with the Croatian Ambassador in Kosovo, Zoran Vodopija, to discuss on bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries, with special emphasis on sectors covered by MED.

Prishtina, 18 November 2013 – Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Macedonia have excellent politic relations and those relations should also be reflected in the economic sphere, was the conclusion of the third Joint Kosovo-Macedonia Committee on economic cooperation, held today in Skopje under the chairmanship of Kosovo’s Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli and Macedonia’s Minister of Economy, Valon Saraqini.

Prishtina, 18 November 2013 – Today, on 18 November 2013, at 14:15, Kosovo territory was hit by an earthquake of 4.8 magnitude in the Richter scale, in the following coordinates: 42.9 latitude and 21.0 longitude. The epicentre of this earthquake, according to the coordinates, is 30km northwest of Prishtina, respectively in the north-eastern part of Vushtrri, between villages Bozhlan and Vesekorfc.

Prishtina, 14 November 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, participated today in the conference on investments in the energy sphere, organized by the Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna, and attended by ministers of EnCT Member States, European Commission, EBRD, KfW, World Bank and other banking and financial institutions.

Prishtina, 13 November 2013 – The Government of Kosovo and the International Financial Corporation (IFC) have signed today an agreement of cooperation part of assistance provided in the post-privatization process of the Kosovo Electricity Distribution and Supply (KEDS) Company.

Prishtina, 13 November 2013 – The Project Steering Committee (PSC) of the Kosova e Re Power Plant Project, chaired by the Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, convened today in a meeting to discuss certain aspects of the project and steps that are to be undertaken. Present in the meeting were also representatives of the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, USAID, European Commission, KEK, KOSTT and the Government Working Group on Energy Projects.

Prishtina, 12 November 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, had today an introductory meeting with the new Slovenian Ambassador in Kosovo, Miljan Mahen, with whom he discussed on the continuation of mutual economic cooperation between two countries, with special emphasis on spheres covered by MED, which are considered key for the country’s development.
