Prishtina 31/10/2016 – The Ministry of Economic Development, as bearer of the responsibility for the creation of national policies for Information and Communication Technology, together with other stakeholders in the ITC sector, is making efforts to turn this technology into an agent of further economic development and social processes in Kosovo, said Besa Zogaj-Gashi, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, at the opening of the annual conference organized by Kosovo banks on the topic: “Digital Banking Services in Kosovo”, organized by the Kosovo Banking Association.

Prishtina 28/10/2016 – The Information Technology Conference KOSICT, held in Prishtina for the fifth year in a row, brought together representatives of technology and business, who will put this sector at the center of attention for two days. Prishtina 18/10/2016 - Inter-institutional working group on the establishing of a One Stop Shop for Renewable Sources of Energy held another meeting to present the results of an Analysis of Barriers to investment in the sector, organized by Fichtner company. The OSS for RSE is expected to be in operation next year, as all preparations are done.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Besa Zogaj-Gashi, participated at the Final Conference of the project ‘Tempus’ held today in Tirana, financed by EU and facilitated by POLIS University, where she was part of the discussion panel on the project “Development and Adjustment of Professional Programs for Energy Efficiency in the West Balkans.

Prishtinë, 06.10.2016 – The Functional Committee for Economic Development, Infrastructure, Trade and Industry, reviewed today in principle the Draft Law No. L-120 on Trepça and recommended the assembly to avoid the Assembly Rules of Procedure and hold the first review of the Draft Law No. L-120 on Trepça in the Plenary Session of 07.10.2016, recommending its adoption in principle.
