Prishtina, 13 November 2015 – Chaired by the Deputy-Minister of Economic Development, Besa Zogaj-Gashi, the first meeting of the Working Group established for drafting the Concept Document on an “One Stop Shop” which aims to accelerate procedures for investment in Renewable Energy Sources.

Prishtina, 16.09.2015 – The Ministry of Economic Development, with the System, Transmission and Market Operator - KOSTT, Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), Kosovo Electricity Distribution System Operator (KEDS), Public Supplier (KESCO) and the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), as of August 2015, started regular coordination meetings on the establishment of KOSTT as an independent controlling area/block under the Continental Europe Synchronous Area.

Prishtina, 10.09.2015 – Interconnection Line 400 kV Kosovo-Albania is one of the most important projects in the energy sector, as the benefits of this project go beyond the borders of Kosovo, said the Minister of Economic Development, Blerand Stavileci, during an inspection visit of works in the project.

Prishtina, 19.08.2015 – Signing if the Energy Agreement between the Prime Minister of Kosovo and that of Serbia, with the mediation of the European Commission, in September 2013, which resulted with the signing of the Operations Agreement (inter-TSO Agreement) between the Transmission System and Electricity Market Operator of Kosovo (KOSTT) and Serbia’s Transmission System Operator (EMS) in September 2014, created the conditions for the initiation of the membership process of KOSTT in relevant international mechanisms, including ENTSO-E (European Network Transmission System Operators-Electricity).

Prishtina, 13.07.2015 - Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Gani Koci, took part in the meeting of the High Level Group of Central and South-Eastern Europe on gas network connection (CESEC), held on 10 July in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Prishtina, 02 July 2015 - Minister of Economic Development Blerand Stavileci will participate in the WB6 Energy Community Treaty Ministerial Meeting, held in Vienna, Austria, on the topic Energy: Connecting Systems: Connecting Markets, to discuss the most recent developments in the energy sector of Western Balkans.

Prishtina, 26 June 2015 – Deputy-Minister of Economic Development (MED), Besa Zogaj-Gashi, met today the Head of the Indian-Kosovar Chamber of Commerce, Anil Mishra, whom she informed on MED’s orientations, with special focus on the sectors covered by the ministry, such as energy, mining and information technology.
