Prishtina, 27.09. 2017 – Austria is an important partner for the country’s economic development and the cooperation between two countries will continue in the future, with the aim being to strengthen further relations between us, said Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka in the meeting he had with Peter Hasslacher, the Head of Advantage Austria for Slovenia, Albania and Kosovo (Organization for Industry, International Trade and Development) and Vjosa Huruglica, Head of Advantage Austria Kosovo Office.

Minister Lluka informed representatives of Advantage Austria on Kosovo’s priorities in terms of economic development as well as its economic potentials.

For his part, Peter Hasslacher congratulated Minister Lluka on his election and reconfirmed the cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development, pledging to continue to review investment opportunities in Kosovo and inform Austrian businesses on such opportunities and on the existing capacities in Kosovo.

Minister Lluka and the Head of Advantage Austria Hasslacher agreed to identify investment possibilities in mines and promote Kosovo’s economic capacities to Austrian businesses.
