A meeting was held for Energy Donor Coordination

Prishtina, 06.12.2021 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, together with representatives of her Cabinet, representatives of the Energy Department of the Ministry of Economy and the working group for drafting the Energy Strategy 2022 – 2031, met with donors in the field of energy in Kosovo.

Projects in the field of energy in Kosovo which are being implemented or are planned to start implementation in the near future were presented in this meeting.

These projects cover the fields of renewable energy sources, energy mix, energy policies, environmental protection, district heating and energy efficiency.

The purpose of this meeting was to ensure a better coordination between the relevant stakeholders for investments in the energy sector and to well-inform the Energy Strategy with the latest developments by donors.

During the meeting, Minister Rizvanolli shared with donors the vision for the Energy Strategy while the external expert who is leading the work for drafting the strategy, Laszlo Szabo, presented the methodology and work process of the Energy Strategy.
