7th Joint Commission between Kosovo and Luxembourg

Prishtina, 04.04.2022 – Today was held the Seventh Joint Commission between the Republic of Kosovo and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, and the Minister of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, at the same time Minister of Economy, Franz Fayot.

The Commission was attended by the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, the Minister of Finance, Labor, and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, the Minister of Health, Rifat Latifi, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, and the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci.

During the meeting, the Ministers of the Republic of Kosovo presented the opportunities for cooperation and investment in Kosovo in their respective portfolios.

Minister Rizvanolli shared the developments and plans in the fields of ICT and energy, with a focus on digitalization and development of renewable energy sources, respectively, while maintaining the security of supply and affordability for consumers.

Minister Rizvanolli together with Minister Fayot emphasized that digitalization remains a priority sector for both countries and an excellent opportunity for cooperation for further bilateral development, a cooperation which is expected to materialize in the upcoming months.
