Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Rizvanolli meet with General Clark

Prishtina, 14.04.2022 – The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Emilija Rexhepi, hosted in a meeting the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO during 1997-2000, General Wesley K. Clark.

The meeting was also attended by foreign investors and involved discussions on economic development and reforms launched by the Government.

While discussing the Government’s commitment to the new energy perspective, it was said that the Government of Kosovo is committed to working towards diversifying the country’s energy resources and maintaining security of supply. In relation to this topic, Minister Rizvanolli spoke about the process towards the finalization of the National Energy Strategy 2022-2031 and the Action Plan for a fair energy transition for the country.

During the meeting, the Government’s commitment to attracting investors who will develop new energy capacities providing security of supply was reiterated.
