Prishtina, 08.04.2022 – The Minister of Economy of the Republic of
Kosovo, Artane Rizvanolli, during her stay in Sofia, Bulgaria, met with
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Bulgaria, Korneliya
Ninova, Minister of Innovation and Development, Daniel Lorer, as well as
with Minister of Energy, Alexander Nikolov.

Minister Rizvanolli said that the Republic of Bulgaria continues to be a strong partner of the Republic of Kosovo, therefore such meetings only strengthen our cooperation towards a more rapid economic development in the sectors covered by the Ministries we run.

During the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Kornelyia Ninova, common priority sectors including digitalization, innovation and agriculture were discussed, sectors that complement each other in both countries and offer excellent opportunities for cooperation.  

In addition, the head of ME met with the Minister of Innovation and Development, Daniel Lorer with whom she discussed about the dynamic sectors of information and communication technology which face similar challenges. Also, in the meeting was emphasized the possibility of exchanging creative and innovative ideas to stimulate a more rapid development of this sector, which will affect a more rapid economic development.

While in the meeting that Minister Rizvanolli had with the Minister of Energy, Alexander Nikolov, they talked about the latest developments and challenges in the energy sector faced not only by the region but the entire Europe. In this meeting was emphasized the possibility to deepen bilateral and regional cooperation in the energy sector, with a focus on increasing the security of electricity supply.
