Prishtina, November 23, 2021 – Today, the Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli received for the third time the representatives of the company New Co “Ferronikeli” after two preliminary meetings held on October 1 and October 11, as well as after the continuous communication between the Cabinet of the Minister of Economy and the leadership of “Ferronikel”.

During the meeting on October 1, the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers was also present, where the leadership of “Ferronikeli” informed the Ministers about the situation in this company and their requests to help in overcoming the energy crisis.

In the meeting held on October 11, Minister Rizvanolli together with her cabinet informed the leadership of Ferronikeli about the developments in this aspect.

During and after the meetings, the leadership of Feronikel was informed that the Government of Kosovo is considering the possibilities for eventual assistance which should be in accordance with the regulatory and legal framework of the country.

Today, in addition to updating the leadership regarding the issues discussed during the previous meetings, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli informed them about the work of the Task Force for Measures in the Event of Energy Emergencies.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Rizvanolli promised the representatives of Feronikel that she will keep them informed of any decision that will be taken in the future.
