Minister Rizvanolli receives the Italian Ambassador, De Riu, in a meeting

Prishtina, 01.11.2021 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli received the new Ambassador of Italy to Kosovo, Antonello De Rio, in a meeting whereby they discussed the relevant areas of the Ministry of Economy and the work done so far.

Minister Rizvanolli received Ambassador De Rio and presented the work of the Ministry of Economy with particular focus on the energy and ICT sectors.

The new Italian Ambassador emphasized that upon his arrival in Kosovo he was surprised for good in terms of progress and development of the potential that has been made since his last visit to the country.

During the meeting, the main topic was the field of ICT, a priority topic for the Ministry of Economy and the Government of Kosovo. The Ambassador stated that he has carefully followed the latest developments in the sector in the country and also stated that Kosovo has great potential in this sector, which can be used internationally.

The Ambassador expressed the Minister the readiness to assist Kosovo in the development of the ICT sector, strengthening the workforce needed for development and innovation.
