Minister Rizvanolli received in a meeting the Ambassador of Japan to Kosovo, Ogasawara Mitsunori

Prishtina, 19.10.2021 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, received the Ambassador of Japan to Kosovo, Ogasawara Mitsunori, and the Second Secretary, Kurimoto Kay.

During the meeting, the Minister and the Ambassador discussed about the latest developments in the energy sector in Kosovo. Minister Rizvanolli informed the Ambassador about the work being done on the energy strategy, as well as work towards affordable and efficient solutions for the transition to renewable energy.

On the other hand, Ambassador Mitsunori expressed his readiness to support the Government of Kosovo, especially the Ministry of Economy, given that Japan has also gone through similar challenges in terms of environmental protection and pollution reduction, and therefore their experience can be used as a valuable lesson for Kosovo.
