Prishtina,
26.06.2021 – On the proposal of the Ministry of
Economy, in the 17th meeting of the Government of Kosovo, the “Draft Law on
Electronic Identification and Trust Services in Electronic Transactions” has
been approved.

The draft law aims to regulate the identification
method and electronic identification schemes; the conditions on the use of
electronic signature, electronic seal, electronic time stamp and equipment for
creating them; broadcasting services that are recommended for legal
transactions, judicial and other proceedings; conditions for issuing and using
qualified certificates for service certification and website authentication;
trust services in electronic transactions and electronic documents.

This draft law applies to electronic identification
schemes and to trust service providers in electronic transactions.

In this meeting were also approved the decisions for
the appointment of the Temporary Board of Directors of the Publicly Owned
Enterprise RWC “Prishtina” as well as the decision for the Temporary
Board of Directors of the Publicly Owned Enterprise Hydro-Economic Enterprise
​“Ibër Lepenci”.

The Temporary Board of Directors appointed in the
Central Enterprise RWC “Prishtina” JSC, serves in the capacity of the Board of
Directors according to Article 43 of the basic law reformulated with Article 22
of the Law No. 04/1-111 on amending and supplementing the Law No. 03/L-087 on
Publicly Owned Enterprises or until the selection of the Permanent Board.

The Temporary Board of Directors appointed in the
Public Hydro-Economic Enterprise “Ibër Lepenci” JSC, serves in the capacity of
the Board of Directors according to Article 43 of the basic law reformulated
with Article 22 of the Law No. 04/1-111 on amending and supplementing the Law
No. 03/L-087 on Publicly Owned Enterprises or until the selection of the
Permanent Board.
