Prishtina, 01.04.2021 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, hosted in a meeting the British Deputy Ambassador to Kosovo, Jacob Webber, the Director of the Department for International Trade in the Western Balkans, Nikola Stojanoski and the Head of Programs at the British Embassy in Kosovo, Mimoza Gojani.

Deputy Ambassador Webber congratulated Minister Rizvanolli on her new duty and thanked the Minister for the warm welcome.

The meeting discussed the economic priorities of the Government and the potential for cooperation in this field.

Minister Rizvanolli thanked the British Embassy for the support provided in recent years in improving the quality and transparency of the recruitment process of senior public officials, whereas the Deputy Ambassador Webber pledged that Britain will provide its continued support and aims to support the new Government in facing the upcoming challenges.

Both sides express their readiness for cooperation in the fields of economy which will contribute to the sustainable economic development of Kosovo, with special emphasis in the fields of energy, improving the operation and monitoring of public enterprises and deepening economic and trade cooperation in between the two countries.
