Minister Kuçi in the Council of Ministers of the Energy Community: Serbia is violating the Treaty by blocking transmission lines

Prishtina, 17.12.2020 – The Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, has participated today in the Council of Ministers of the Energy Community, which this time was held under the chairmanship of Montenegro.

Speaking about the revision of the Energy Community Treaty, Minister Blerim Kuçi spoke about the current situation after Kosovo’s energy independence and the blockade being made by Serbia.

“While we are talking about regional integration of the energy market, my country has been blocked by Serbia as a signatory to this treaty, 60% of cross-border transmission capacity. This in principle devalues the treaty itself “, said Minister Kuçi.
