Administrative Instruction on Fees for Services for Registration of Immovable Property Rights is signed

 

Prishtina, 12 November 2020 -The Ministry of Economy and Environment, respectively the Kosovo Cadastral Agency, in the framework of advancing the legal framework and updating its bylaws, has concluded the signing of the foreseen administrative instructions with the signing of the Administrative Instruction on Fees for Services for Registration of Immovable Property Rights.

 

This signing took place during the visit of the Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, accompanied by Deputy Minister Burbuqe Deva-Bakija at the Kosovo Cadastral Agency, where they were received by the Executive Director of the Agency, Avni Ahmeti.

 

The signing of this Administrative Instruction was preceded by a meeting between the teams of the Ministry of Economy and Environment and the Kosovo Cadastral Agency, during which meeting the Agency, through interactive discussions, presented its achievements as well as its challenges.
This Administrative Instruction will enable the advancement of service delivery, including services provided online in accordance with the requirements and standards of the European Union and other advanced countries in this area.

 

“The Ministry of Economy and Environment is paying special attention to developments in the Kosovo Cadastral Agency, due to the importance that this Agency has in the field of land administration and property registration. Therefore, with full capacity we have supported their legal reforms that are being imposed as a result of dynamic changes in the areas that are under the mandate of the Kosovo Cadastral Agency. This administrative instruction determines the level of fees for services provided for the registration of immovable property rights, while the provisions of this Administrative Instruction are mandatory for the Kosovo Cadastral Agency, municipal cadastral offices and applicants for services and products “, stated Minister Kuçi.

 

The Executive Director of the Kosovo Cadastral Agency, Ahmeti emphasized that the Agency is concluding this year as it was planned, and despite the situation with the pandemic, the same has not stopped providing services to institutions and citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

 

Regarding the Administrative Instruction, Executive Director Ahmeti said that in addition to leveling prices for products, it also includes fees for new services that have come as a result of technological advancements in the KCA, including fees for establishing access to online services for annual maintenance for services provided online, fees for verifying information, and the like.
During the visit to KCA, Minister Kuçi was demonstrated in real time the performance of daily work by the staff of the Kosovo Cadastral Agency.
