Prishtina, 13.10.2020 – The Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, reported today to the Parliamentary Committee for the Oversight of Public Finance, where he reviewed the Audit report on the financial statements of the former Ministry of Economic Development for 2019.

Minister Kuçi said that they have received the findings from the Audit Report and that they are following up the process of implementation of these findings.

“This report concerns only a part of the Ministry of Economy and Environment. There is a certain number of findings, those that have been repeated and those that have occurred for the first time. For me, it has to do with some findings that unfortunately can be repeated again as they are beyond our competencies”.

Minister Kuçi also stressed that “We are discussing with the Office of the Prime Minister about these issues, while other findings are applicable and we are following up the process of implementing the findings that have been made based on the report. We have accepted these findings as such and together with them we have drawn up a plan to implement all the findings”.
