In record time, Minister Kuçi processes over EUR 37 million of assistance to businesses

Prishtina, 13.10.2020 – In the framework of the implementation of the Plan approved today by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the implementation of the Economic Recovery Program, the Ministry of Economy and Environment (MEE) has executed today the first payment, in record time, in financial support for businesses in the country.

The Decision of the Government to support businesses has come as a result of the constant request from the Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi.

The amount which is allocated in this category reaches the value of EUR 60 million in subsidies where today MEE executed the first payment of EUR 37,710,730 million for 15,745 businesses which have met the conditions at this stage according to the economic recovery program.

The rest of the decision will be implemented in the following days where all businesses that have applied according to the criteria will benefit.
