100 thousand Euros for Suhareka to complete the Martyrs’ Park

Prishtina, 15.09.2020 – The Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, met today with the Mayor of Suhareka, Bali Muharremaj.

Minister Kuçi and Mayor Muharremaj, in addition to talking about the future projects and the work being done in the city of Suhareka, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for co-funding the Martyrs’ Park in Suhareka.

“Contributing with life to liberate Kosovo obliges us to ensure that the place where the martyrs rest is arranged in a dignified and beautiful manner. This will be the case in Suhareka”, said Minister Kuçi.

Mayor Bali Muharremaj told that the Municipality of Suhareka has already done a lot of work in this park and will still invest, but that the support of 100 thousand Euros from the Ministry of Economy and Environment will help this project to be finalized in detail.
