Minister Kuçi informed the French Ambassador on the economic situation in Kosovo

Prishtina, 02.07.2020 – Minister of Economy and Environment (MEE), Blerim Kuçi, received today in a meeting the French Ambassador to Kosovo, Marie-Christine Butel.

Minister Blerim Kuçi expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Marie-Christine Butel for the continuous support provided to Kosovo by France.

Also, Minister Kuçi informed the Ambassador about the difficult economic situation in which Kosovo is, created as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and presented the plan of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the economic recovery of the country.

Ambassador Marie-Christine Butel informed Minister Kuçi about the projects that France is implementing in Kosovo and promised their strong support by the State of France in the economic recovery of Kosovo.

Mr. Kuçi and Ms. Christine Butel praised the two countries for their good cooperation and said that this cooperation will continue in the future, as France’s support is necessary for Kosovo’s integration into the family of the European Union
