Minister Blerim Kuçi received the Ambassador of Norway, Jens Erik Grondahl

 

Prishtina, 30.06.2020 – The Minister of Economy and Environment (MEE), Blerim Kuçi, received today for a meeting the Ambassador of Norway to Kosovo, Jens Erik Grondahl.

 

During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and Norway, with special emphasis on the economic situation in Kosovo, created as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Minister Blerim Kuçi thanked the Norwegian Ambassador Jens Erik Grondahl for the continuous support Norway has given and will continue to give to Kosovo and informed him about the actions taken by the Government of Kosovo for the country’s economic recovery.

 

Mr Kuçi and Mr Grondahl expressed their readiness to further deepen the cooperation, especially in the field of economic development, as it is an emergency need following the situation created in Kosovo’s economy severely hit by COVID-19.

 

Also, Ambassador Jens Erik Grondahl promised that all regional and local projects will receive comprehensive support in economic recovery.

 

Norway is one of the European countries that helped the development of Kosovo in all its stages.
