Prishtina, 05.06.2019 – In view of monitoring the implementation of the Energy Strategy of the Republic of Kosovo 2017-2026, the Inter-institutional Coordination Group held its meeting to ensure regular monitoring of the implementation of the Energy Strategy. The establishment of this monitoring body is based on the requirements of Administrative Instruction No. 07/2018 and the Manual for Planning, Developing and Monitoring Strategic Documents and their Action Plans.

This monitoring group includes representatives of the entities involved in implementing the strategic objectives of the energy sector, including the civil society representative.

The draft Report on the Progress of Implementation of the Strategy for 2018, prepared by MED, was discussed at today’s meeting. The comments and suggestions of the members of the Monitoring Group will be included in the final Report on the Progress of Implementation of the Energy Strategy for 2018.
