Minister Lluka sought support of Switzerland for energy sector

Prishtina, 16.05.2019 – During the course of meetings held during his stay in Zurich, Switzerland, Minister of Economic Development met his Swiss counterpart, Guy Parmeli and Deputy Alfred Heer.

During this meeting, Minister Lluka thanked Mr. Parmeli and Mr. Heer for the support provided by the Switzerland to Kosovo since 1999, in particular in the water sector with projects for the integration in the water supply systems and waste water treatment.

Another topic of the meeting with Minister Parmeli was the additional support in the energy sector, and increase of economic cooperation between both countries.

It is worth mentioning that Minister Parmel was Minister of Defence in the previous mandate and 2 years ago visited KFOR Swiss corps in Kosovo. His impressions of Kosovo were very positive.
