Prishtina, 13.09.2018 – Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, and Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, as representatives of the Government of Republic of Kosovo, attended the funeral of former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, organized in his home country – Ghana.

In the margins of the Peace Nobel Prize winner, the Kosovo delegation was able to meet with senior representatives of various countries around the world and to inform them on the developments in our country and on the commitment of the Kosovo Government to ensure good neighborly relations.

Ministers Lluka and Lekaj paid their respects to the personality of Kofi Annan, who was committed to ensuring the recognition of Kosovo’s independence, and who was a personality that dedicated his life to human rights and environmental policies around the world.

Senior officials from Ghana expressed their gratitude to the Government of Kosovo for its participation in the ceremony and committed to continuous engagement in strengthening Kosovo’s statehood and support in its international recognition.
