Minister Lluka hosted the Czech Ambassador, to discuss on investments in energy

Prishtina, 27.03.2018 – Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, met today with Czech Ambassador Ivo Shilhavy with whom he discussed about Czech investment opportunities in Kosovo, with a focus on energy projects.

On this occasion, Minister Lluka, informed Ambassador Shilhavy on the most important projects led by MED, such as the construction of the Kosova e Re Power Plant, rehabilitation of Kosovo B, as well as other projects in the field of renewable energy.

Minister Lluka informed the Czech Ambassador on foreign investment opportunities in the energy sectors, which are of particular importance to Kosovo.

From his part, Ambassador Shilhavy confirmed that the Czech Republic is interested in helping Kosovo empower the economy, encouraging various investors to be part of the Kosovo market.

Minister Lluka and Ambassador Shilhavy also agreed to continue the economic cooperation between the two countries.
