Local businesses are the backbone of the country’s economic development

Minister Lluka informed AKB and KPK about MED priorities, emphasizing that support to private businesses comprises a high priority, adding that along those lines cooperation with business associations is of great significance.

In discussing problems faced by local businesses, Minister Lluka and the head of AKB, Agim Shahini, agreed that more has to be done in enhancing access to energy and eliminating barriers for producers.

In the meeting between heads of MED and KPK, discussions revolved around the possibility of extending cooperation with the aim of developing the production sector further, empowering and promoting Made in Kosova products and eliminating barriers for further production.

Minister Lluka told both delegations that in MED they will find their institutional partner, to which they will be able to address all business concerns, which will be further treated in line with the legal and institutional framework, considering that the local business comprises the backbone of the country’s economic development.
