Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce supports development of ICT in Kosovo

Prishtinë, 23.03.2017 – Within the Austrian-Kosovar Economic Forum the Minister of Economic Development Blerand Stavileci accompanied by a delegation of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce, headed by the Regional Manager for South-East Europe, Konstantin Bekos, today visited the Innovation Centre Kosova (ICK).

In this occasion the ICK Executive Director, Uranik Begu, informed the Austrian Delegation with activities and achievements of this centre, by emphasising that youth potential in Kosovo needs more innovative programs.

He said that this centre serves as an incubator for new business ideas and has so far offered more than 120 training courses. Begu said that ICK Programs are supported by donors, and highlighted the cooperation and support of Minister Stavileci.

The Manager of Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce Constantine Bekos from his side positively assessed the work of the ICK and expressed the interest of the institution that he manages to support such programs which aim at development of new ideas, especially in the field of ICT.
