Draft Energy Strategy 2016-2025 discussed with stakeholders

Prishtina, 30 September 2016 – A workshop was held in the premises of the Ministry of Economic Development to discuss the Energy Strategy of the Republic of Kosovo 2016-2025.

The team tasked to draft the Strategy presented the basic analyses and methodology used to identify objectives and measures for achieving them. Stakeholders included in the commenting phase, also presented their respective comments, proposals and suggestions.

Upon discussion, it was concluded that the document needs to be supplemented based on comments and proposals obtained from the stakeholders, and then, in accordance with the procedures enshrined in the law, the Strategy will be submitted to the Government of Kosovo for approval. Otherwise, the workshop was attended by representatives of the European Commission, USAID, World Bank, KfW, KOSID, KFOS, GIZ, MESP, MEI and Municipality of Obiliq.
