Kosovo and Croatia in close cooperation in the field of geology

Prishtinë, 31.08.2016 – The Deputy Minister of Economic Development Gani Koci hosted a meeting with the Croatian Ambassador in Prishtina Marija Kapitanoviq accompanied by Zlatko Vnucec, Second Secretary of the Croatian Embassy, who agreed to continue the cooperation of both countries in fields covered by the MED, with emphasis in the fields of mining and geology.

In this occasion, Dep. Minister Koci thanked Ambassador Kapitanovic on the standpoints that the Croatian State has continuously had towards Kosovo, by adding that the Government of Kosovo is grateful for the good relations with Croatia in all fields.

“As MED have had a good cooperation with Croatia for years now, especially in the field of geology, since the Croatian experience is very helpful for us as a new country, thus this cooperation is welcomed” said Koci.

Ambassador Marija Kapitanovic from her side highly regarded the cooperation between both countries and reconfirmed the support of the Croatian State for Kosovo in all fields, especially in the mining sector.

“I would want for our cooperation to be further strengthened in the field of minerals and geology, because we see Kosovo as a serious partner in these fields”, said Kpitanovic.

Moreover, in this meeting Deputy Minister Koci informed the Croatian Diplomat that Kosovo has created a favorable legal infrastructure for foreign investments, which would help economic development of Kosovo.
