MED trains Publicly-Owned Enterprises on EU Funds

27 September 2013 – On 26 and 27 September 2013, the Ministry of Economic Development, concretely its Publicly-Owned Enterprises Policy and Monitoring Unit (POEPMU), organized trainings for the Boards of Directors of Publicly-Owned Enterprises on “Preparation of public infrastructure projects for EU funds” and “How to monitor the annual business work plan in publicly-owned enterprises”.

These training sessions were funded by the Swiss Office’s support program for the Publicly-Owned Enterprise Policy and Monitoring Unit, and implemented by an international consultancy.

All Members of the Board of Directors of Publicly-Owned Enterprises participating in these training sessions will be equipped with training attendance certificates.

Through the provision of this training, the Publicly-Owned Enterprises Policy and Monitoring Unit is fulfilling the legal obligation stipulated in Article 17.6 of the Law on Publicly-Owned Enterprises.
