Minister Ismajli visits renowned German companies

Prishtina, 11 July 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, continued his official visit in Frankfurt, Germany, where he is attending an Energy Conference, and under the auspices of which he conducted numerous visits to renowned German companies and meetings with their respective managements.

Accompanied by the Head of Republic of Kosovo’s Mission to Germany, Ambassador Skender Xhakaliu, Minister Ismajli visited renowned German companies, such as KfW, Roland Berger and ALSTOM, with the senior officials of which he discussed on economic cooperation and coordination of the support that these experienced companies can provide to Republic of Kosovo.

Minister Ismajli’s visit to German company ALSTOM, where he was received by the company’s President, Alf Henrik Wulf and his associates Christofer Lower and Tino Martin Marling, is considered of specific interest, as it was used to exchange ideas and discuss on the possibilities of reciprocal cooperation.

Both counterparts expressed their mutual admiration and shared common convictions that this represents merely the initial stage of cooperation, while expressing their readiness to continue, coordinate and deepen further such cooperation.

During this visit, the Minister and his staff had the possibility of close insight to working units and the most contemporary and advanced technologies in the sphere of energy and gas.

Noteworthy, the said company is present in 100 countries worldwide and employs 93.000 staff members.
