Works commence on the extension of the water supply network in the village of Graboc, Fushë Kosova
Fushë Kosova, 11.07.2025 – The Caretaker Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, the Director of the Publicly Owned Enterprises Monitoring Unit (POEMU), Valon Prebreza, and the Chief Executive Officer of RWC “Prishtina”, Arsim Fetahu, have participated in the commencement of works on the extension of the water supply network in the village of Graboc of the municipality of Fushë Kosovë. For years, the residents of this village have not had secure access to drinking water.
On this occasion, Minister Rizvanolli said that with the start of this vital project for the supply of drinking water, for the first time around 1,000 residents of Graboc will have drinking water in their homes, as these works will be completed by the end of this year.
“This project, worth 343 thousand euro from the Ministry of Economy, is part of a major investment of 3.7 million euro from the Government of Kosovo, through the MESPI, MLGA and the Ministry of Economy, which will ensure drinking water for over 10 thousand citizens in the majority of the villages of the Municipality of Fushë Kosova”, the Minister said.
The Minister said that in the last two years at the national level, only the Ministry of Economy has allocated over 10 million euro and is implementing water supply projects. Within the framework of the EUR 3.7 million project from which 10 thousand citizens will benefit, works are also being carried out on the water supply network in Bardh i Madh, Lismir and Mesabardh, while today works also commenced in the village of Graboc.
This engagement will continue until drinking water is guaranteed in every household and every business in the country.
