Prishtina, 19.09.2025 – The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has approved the transfer of EUR 904 thousand from the Energy Crisis Response Package, after previously receiving funds from the European Union to successfully complete the disbursement of funds under the Energy Support Package (IPA 2023).

The acting Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, announced that these funds will be used to carry out the disbursement of subsidies for efficient heating equipment from the last call, which have already been processed and approved by the Ministry of Economy, and the handling of the waiting list of the last call for house insulation by the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund.

The Ministry of Economy and the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund will take further steps for these processes in the shortest possible time.

Since 2022, over 43 thousand families and businesses have been supported with over EUR 19.6 million, initially through measures of the Ministry of Economy and then with the support of the European Union, reducing energy costs and improving living conditions throughout the country.
