Prishtina, 15.08.2022 – Given the global energy crisis that has also affected the region, all responsible institutions are working intensively and in coordination with each other to secure electricity supply.

Thanks to this and cooperation between Kosovo and Albania, namely the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) and the Albanian Power Corporation (KESH), we have managed to avoid power cuts from 14:00h and have the regular supply of electricity continue.

Institutions will continue to make maximum efforts to maintain regular electricity supply in the forthcoming days. However, considering the situation, we kindly appeal to all citizens and businesses to take electricity-saving measures and be as careful as possible in using electricity.

Cooperation with Albania will be followed by other measures to address the energy crisis and the state of emergency we are in.
