Opening of the Call for Subsidies of Efficient Heating Equipment for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises
Prishtina, 22.11.2023 – Today, the Ministry of Economy announced a public call for subsidies of efficient heating equipment for support micro, small, and medium enterprises, funded by the European Union (EU).
The measures introduced aim to support micro, small, and medium businesses to invest in the installation of energy-efficient heating equipment, including:
Thermal pump;
Efficient air conditioner (high-efficiency inverter-type air-to-air thermal pump)
Biomass boiler (wood, pellets, briquettes);
Individual biomass stoves.
The subsidy amount for a thermal pump device is twenty percent (20%) of the investment value, or up to €2000.00. While for businesses owned or co-owned by women from fifty-one percent (51%) and above, the subsidy value is twenty-five percent (25%) of the investment value, also up to €2000.00.
For the efficient air conditioner (inverter-type air-to-air thermal pump with high efficiency), the subsidy value for one device is twenty percent (20%) of the investment value, or up to €1000.00. For businesses owned or co-owned by women from fifty-one percent (51%) and above, the subsidy value is twenty-five percent (25%) of the investment value, up to €1000.00.
The biomass boiler (wood, pellets, briquettes) is subsidized at forty percent (40%) of the investment value, up to €2000.00. For businesses owned or co-owned by women from fifty-one percent (51%) and above, the subsidy value is forty-five percent (45%) of the investment value, also up to €2000.00.
Meanwhile, the subsidy for an individual biomass stove is forty percent (40%) of the investment value, up to €500.00. For businesses owned or co-owned by women from fifty-one percent (51%) and above, the subsidy value is forty-five percent (45%) of the investment value, up to €500.00.
The application for subsidies is divided into two phases, and in both phases, application is to be made online through the e-Kosovo platform: https://rks-gov.net/476
The deadline for the first phase application is 21 calendar days from the opening of the Call, until 12 December 2023 or until the allocated budget for this Call is spent. Applications received in the first phase will be considered based on the principle “FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED”. While the deadline for the second phase is until 10 January 2024.
