Prishtina, 19.06.2025 – The Ministry of Economy informs the beneficiary citizens of the Efficient Devices Subsidy Package that, based on the notice received from the European Union, the procedures for the disbursement of funds are expected to be completed by their side by July 2025, and thereafter the Ministry of Economy will execute the payments for the beneficiary citizens of this Package.

This Package was designed to directly support citizens, including low-income households and other vulnerable categories, through the subsidization of high energy efficiency devices and renewable energy systems in the household sector.

To date, based on a regular process of assessment and approval by the respective commissions, 11,188 beneficiaries have been selected, with a total value of 4,987,061 Euro, who have met all established criteria and have been notified through the Evaluation Commissions.

Meanwhile, 1,459 beneficiaries/citizens and 10 beneficiaries/businesses remain who are expected to be disbursed from these funds by the end of July.

The Ministry of Economy has timely completed all administrative and technical procedures in accordance with Decision No. 20/145 of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, which determines the functioning of the Steering and Coordinating Committee for the implementation of the Action Plan for mitigating the socio-economic impact of the energy crisis, within which the final implementation report was submitted to the European Union Office (EUO) in Kosovo on 28 February 2025.

The Ministry of Economy regrets the delay in the disbursement of funds to a part of the beneficiaries as a result of this situation.
