Minister Rizvanolli visits two businesses in Gjakova that are beneficiaries of subsidies for solar panels
Gjakova, 01.08.2025 – The Minister in office of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, together with Alessandro Bianciardi, Deputy Head of Cooperation Section at the European Union Office in Kosovo, visited two businesses in Gjakova that have received subsidies for the installation of solar panels.
These subsidies were provided by the Ministry of Economy through a European Union grant, with the aim of promoting self-consumption of renewable energy.
Minister Rizvanolli closely inspected the investments in the Ada Dairy company and the “Toni Plast” company, and she was informed that electricity bills have been reduced by almost half the amount after the installation of solar panels.
The owner of the Ada Dairy, Bekim Mirashi, stated that his business has benefited from a subsidy of 6,000 euros, the same amount that the “Toni Plast” company, owned by Bajram Hoti, has also received.
Minister Rizvanolli thanked the European Union for its support in overcoming the energy crisis, as well as the manufacturing companies that are investing in energy efficiency, appreciating these investments that bring long-term effects for the businesses themselves and the country’s economy.
