Prishtina, 04.07.2025 – The Caretaker Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, took part in the certification ceremony of around 300 young persons in ICT for Kosovo’s Growth. On this occasion, Minister Rizvanolli said that this project has delivered results for more than 3,000 young men and women with over 2,500 certified.

“Such trainings are not only about skills and jobs, but they are about opportunities. Therefore, I am particularly pleased that 43%, over 1,000 of the graduates of these trainings are young women from Kosovo. These skills help to close the gap between potential and employment and lay the foundations for a stronger and more competitive economy of Kosovo,” said Minister Rizvanolli.

The Minister thanked the European Union for the continued partnership in strengthening Kosovo’s digital capacities, but also the energy sector and institutional growth and development over the years.

She further said that the support from the EU has enabled thousands of young persons to have access to high-quality trainings in fields that matter for our future and for your future.

Finally, the Minister wished success in careers to the certified participants and added that “Kosovo needs your ideas, ambition and contribution for our social development, as well as the economic one”.

Whereas the attendees also had the opportunity to listen to the speakers in the panel on the topic “From Training to Employment”.
