Minister Rizvanolli Represents Kosovo at the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation Forum
Zagreb, 02.03.2023 – Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, is representing the Republic of Kosovo at the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC) Forum, which is taking place in Zagreb, Croatia.
Minister Rizvanolli is participating upon the invitation from the United States Department of Energy and today she was part of the Efficiency and Renewable Energy Panel within the Forum, along with Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Marc Lafrance, representative of the US Department of Energy, and Jubo Turashvili, representative of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
During her speech, Minister Rizvanolli shared Kosovo’s successful experience in addressing the energy crisis, highlighting all the measures taken by the Kosovo Government to assist citizens and businesses, as well as to increase efficiency, such as subsidies for efficient devices, saving, and awareness campaigns.
Minister Rizvanolli also emphasized that we deepen the sharing of experiences and collaboration with the US Department of Energy in this field in the coming months.
In 2021, Minister Rizvanolli represented Kosovo for the first time at this Forum, which was held in Warsaw.
P-TECC focuses on technical cooperation in several areas, including improving energy efficiency and distribution of clean energy, including renewable energy and nuclear energy sectors, as well as supporting best practices in energy cyber security and promoting new capital investments in key energy infrastructure.
