Prishtina, 5 September 2023 – In a special event, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, opened the Fourth Edition of the #GreenTalk platform with an encouraging and inspiring speech about the Government’s plans for the Implementation of Efficiency Measures.

The Green Talk platform is dedicated to fostering discussions on energy and environmental issues, as well as promoting activism and addressing challenges in Kosovo’s green sector.

During her presentation of the Government’s plan, Minister Rizvanolli emphasized that, based on the experiences of past schemes, we have witnessed a record interest in thermal insulation, increasing public awareness of the importance of efficiency. This year, €39.5 million will be invested in the residential and public sectors for efficiency measures.

The Minister highlighted that efficient energy will remain a Government priority, reflecting their commitment to ensuring a more sustainable future for all citizens.

Later, Xhevdet Gegollaj, Director of the Green Foundation, shared insights on the “Disco Soup” journey and discussed practices of food surplus recycling.
